At the heart of news with the Dutch Heart Foundation newsroom

Dutch Heart Foundation newsroom gives journalists heart related insights

The Dutch Heart Foundation asked PressPage to create an online interactive platform, specially designed for media professionals to keep their audience updated with the latest heart related news. Journalists can find the latest information about projects, investments, initiatives and campaigns, and are able to download images or background information. The newsroom helps to give a better insight into the work of the Dutch Heart Foundation.

Founded in 1964, the objective of the Dutch Heart Foundation has always been to beat cardiovascular diseases. To achieve this objective, they depend solely upon donations from individuals and companies. The organization invests in scientific research, new medical applications and ways to detect heart disease at an earlier stage.

Every day in the Netherlands over 1,000 people end up in hospital due to a heart attack, stroke or other heart related disease. Over 100 people still die each day due to cardiovascular disease and it is almost the number one cause of death among women. The Dutch Heart Foundation wants to make a change and working together with different parties to bring down these numbers.
