G2 summer 2020 badges are here, PressPage named leader

The G2 summer report came back recently, and we’re thrilled to have received 9 badges and be named a leader across 2 categories! Even if we don’t work for the praise in itself (ultimately we just want PR teams to achieve their goals, whichever they might be), it’s always great to know that we’re on the right track – according to our amazing customers and users.

G2 is the world’s leading B2B software and services review platform. Each quarter, their research team reviews data from thousands of SaaS companies around the world, across sectors and categories, putting customer feedback front and center.

Press Release Distribution category

Press release distribution is all about the software tools to publish and send press releases or other company news. They are at the core of PR teams and agencies but can also be useful to Marketing teams who have seen the SEO benefits that PR campaigns can have. This is one of the areas where we put most of our focus, naturally. We’re constantly improving our platform, and making sure it’s jam-packed with useful features.

In this category, PressPage earned 5 badges due to performance, usability, and user adoption:

G2’s badges come from a scoring system that takes into account reviews and ratings from verified users. Companies included in the report should have at least 10 reviews. This way, you can hear it from who it really matters: users.

Media and influencer targeting category

Media and influencer targeting software refers to the tools that help PR professionals identify and contact all sorts of journalists, bloggers, or influencers who have authority in their given industry. Usually, this means a contact database or otherwise giving companies tools to discover leading voices to collaborate with or whose audiences might be interested in a particular brand story.

G2 Crowd gave us 4 badges in this category:

As some of our customers might now, over the last couple of years we’ve been working on integrating and improving users’ experience with the media database. There are currently over 900,000 journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other media contacts who have opted-in to be included. A lot of hard work has gone (and still goes) into it, and it’s certainly paid off!
