PressPage takes your privacy very seriously and handles your personal data with the utmost security and care. If you are a visitor to our website or a customer of PressPage, this Privacy Statement applies to your use of the website or the PressPage Services.

This Privacy Statement explains how PressPage processes / handles personal data, collected through use of its website and the PressPage Services. For the purposes of this policy, PressPage defines ‘Customer’ as an entity with which PressPage has an agreement to provide PressPage Services, the term ‘Visitor’ as an individual that visits our website, the term ‘Other Data Subjects’ as any individual other than ‘Customer’ or ‘Visitor’, whose personal data is processed by PressPage. PressPage implements and maintains appropriate technical, security and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing.

In this Privacy Statement, “PressPage”, “us” and “we” refers to PressPage B.V. and its affiliates. “Website” means www.presspage.com, “Services” means PressPage’s services in the format they are offered to our customers and “Offerings” is a reference to the Website and Services together.

Collected personal data

The personal data of the Customer that is processed and for what purposes is stated below. We will hold data no longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and as long as necessary to support the Offerings, to resolve disputes or as required by applicable laws and regulations.

All data related to Customers

To be able to provide our Customers with the Services, we collect their personal data. This data is given to us by the Customers.

Services. For the purpose of performing a contract between us and the Customer, we process personal data. When the Customer signs up to use our Services or provides us contact information otherwise, we collect this data. This includes the following:

  • First and last name
  • Company address
  • Email address
  • Phone number

Finance. When the Customer purchases the Services, financial information is collected to invoice the Customer. This includes the following:

  • Company name
  • Billing address
  • Other payment information

Technical Information. With the use of webanalytics tools, we collect technical information (data from the user agent, like browser type, referral source, length of visit and pages viewed and other similar behavioural data, and usernames) about the Customer’s usage of the PressPage Manager on user level, to optimize the Services, monitor usage or traffic patterns and gather demographic information about our platform.

Marketing. We may occasionally use Customer’s information to send promotional communications about product or feature updates, events, webinars, newsletters or provide other news or information about us. Except for cases where we are required to do so, the Customer has the opportunity to unsubscribe from receiving these messages by using the unsubscribe link within each email.

Other platforms. We want to make sure the customers receive the best service from PressPage. To realise this we make use of CRM systems and chat features in which customer’s data is stored, based on legitimate interest. This helps us to give our customers the best service, to ensure that the Services we provide are correctly administered and we are able to provide the best technical assistance / support.

All data related to Visitors

Via our website we collect data that has been given to us by the Visitors by using a contact form, the chat feature, or when a free trial is requested. We will use this provided data (including the message content when using the chat feature) for the indicated purposes / the information you requested only and is based on consent.

Other data we collect via our Website, is collected via cookies or other technologies, which are placed in part by third parties. Cookies are small pieces of (text) information that are sent to your browser when you visit the website of PressPage and then stored on the hard disk or in the memory of your device. The cookies placed via PressPage’s website cannot damage your device or the files stored on it. We use these cookies in order to analyse the use and performance of our website. Website analytics. We use website analytics services, that generate information to evaluate the usage of our website with the purpose of improving its functionalities. The data that is processed are browser properties and ip addresses.

All data related to Other Data Subjects

Recruitment. We collect and store personal data that is submitted to us for recruiting purposes. This data facilitates the recruitment process. The personal data that is provided to us to apply to one of our vacancies, is stored. This data includes the following:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Profile photo
  • CV
We store this information as long as necessary for application purposes.

Marketing / Sales. Based on legitimate interest, PressPage stores commercial email addresses for marketing / sales purposes. If the personal data can no longer be used for this purpose, it is deleted.

Rights in regards to your personal data

If it is not otherwise required by law, we will provide you with access to your personal data upon request. At all times you have the right to request this access, but also to request correction or deletion of your personal data processed by PressPage. Right to amend

If you wish to make changes to the personal information that you have seen as a result of a request for access and you are unable to make the changes yourself in your account, you may request that PressPage makes these changes for you. You may request that PressPage modifies, corrects, supplements, erases or shields your information.

Right to object

If processing of your data takes place on the grounds of 'legitimate interest', you have the right to object to that processing.

Portability of data

You have the right to obtain your personal data from PressPage. PressPage will provide this in a structured and commonly used format, which can easily be opened.

Withdrawing consent

When the legal basis for a particular processing is your explicit consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent. This does not affect past processing, but does mean that we will no longer be allowed to process this data in the future. It may also result in PressPage no longer being able to provide you with certain services.

Response from PressPage

A request can be sent to legal@presspage.com. PressPage will comply with your request as soon as possible and in any case no later than one (1) month after PressPage has received such a request. If PressPage rejects your request, we will indicate in our reply why the request was rejected.

Disclosing your personal data

We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law. We sometimes share your personal information with third parties (sub processors, or parties who provide various products and services on our behalf) to provide, maintain and improve our Services. These parties are limited to use your Personal Data for any purpose other than to provide services for us. For example, your data may be disclosed to:

We may make changes to this Privacy Statement from time to time and, if so, we will post a revised version of this statement on our website. All changes are effective immediately and it is your responsibility to remain informed of the latest version of the Privacy Statement.
