Dutch lottery gears up on digital comms

Modernizing the newsroom is to ensure better communications with multitude of online audiences.

The BankGiro Loterij is a Dutch lottery whose proceeds are donated to cultural initiatives in the Netherlands. Part of the comms effort is geared towards educating their audiences on cultural initiatives and trends, as well as transparency on donations and winners.The BankGiro Loterij initiative has donated over €850 million to over 60 cultural partners over the last 14 years.

The Bankgiro lottery is a not-for-profit organization whose proceeds are well spent. To ensure transparency and accountability, the newsroom will help in couunicating how their money is used.
